End of season at Holywood RFC

At the final day of training for the season for Holywood Minis Rugby, the children finished with a fun day and presentation of medals to all the teams.

Well done to P4 pupil, Zach receiving his medal from Ulster Rugby player Matty Rea.

P4 teammates Joe, Danny, Caleb, Alex, James, Rory and Ella also received their medals.

WELL DONE EVERYONE, WHAT A GREAT WAY TO FINISH THE SEASON OFF!

Helping others

Huge congratulations to Saoirse, Selena and Penny from P4 who raised £90 for Ukraine by making and selling lemonade at the recent Croft Hill Climb Car Event.
They donated their takings to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Human Appeal www.dec.org.uk

Beaming about basketball!

Polly (P6) was chosen to play in the Basketball NI finals which took place in Craigavon. She has been playing for Queen’s since September and her team (U12 girls) won the League. CONGRATULATIONS to Polly and her team. We look forward to hearing of her involvement in other basketball tournaments and hopefully more finals too!

Hockey success for Jamie

We were delighted to hear about Jamie’s hockey success.

Jamie is in P7. He competed in the Ulster U11 hockey finals. His team, Lisnagarvey won the Cup.

As you can see Jamie is very happy! What a great outcome. We’ve no doubt there will be many more hockey trophies for Jamie and his team mates in the future! GREAT JOB JAMIE!

Let's dance!

Charlotte participated in the Greenisland Irish Dancing and came away with the following accolades - 3rd in her Reel, 2nd in the Slip Jig and 3rd in the Trebel Jig. Clara also participated in the same festival and was awarded 1st in her Reel, 1st in the Single Jig and 1st in the Treble Jig. These fantastic placings gave Clara an overall 1st place title. Well done girls!

Clara participated in the Portadown Irish Dancing Festival and came away with another four podium finishes. She was 2nd in her Reel, 1st in the Single Jig, 3rd in the trebel Jig and 3rd Overall.
