As well as receivng their winning prizes, the children had the honour of cutting the ribbon to mark the new extension!

Darby (P7) competed in Holywood Music Festival. He entered the woodwind class and was awarded 1st place for clarinet and 2nd place for saxophone in the same category. What a fantastic outcome. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO DARBY on this achievement. We really liked the prizes he was awarded too!

A big well done to all the children who took part in the Sumdog Maths contest. There was a total of 121 classes from Northern Ireland that entered the competition and HPS featured very highly on the leadership board! A big well done to Room 10 who came 7th in the whole contest and to Room 6 who came 22nd out of 121!
Congratulations to Jamie (P4) who recently won a history competition organised by Holywood and District Community Council and Holywood History Group to mark the unveiling of the new MayPole in Holywood.

Congratulations to P7 pupil Bea. Bea recently won a writing competition organised by the Lyric Theatre, Belfast, with entries from Primary School pupils all over NI. Bea really loves writing and winning this competition shoes us just how talented she is!
