Eva has been working hard on the pitch to develop her football skills for many years and all the hard work has now paid off. After three grueling trials, she has been awarded a place in the 2013 Elite Girls' National Programme with the IFA. Keep up the great work Eva, we're all very proud of you at HPS!
LOOK OUT for Sienna in the Specsavers UK campaign
During the summer P2 pupil Sienna was selected from a UK wide competition to be involved in a Specsavers campaign aimed at making going to the opticians less scary for children and to promote a positive attitude to wearing glasses. She attended a studio workshop in Manchester with global illustrator Melanie Williamson and other children from England, Scotland and Wales. Sienna was involved in a workshop and shoot to design a monster which will be included in an instore campaign across Specsavers stores in the coming months.

Golf Sixes success
P6 pupil, Daniel represented Helen’s Bay Golf Club in the Golf Sixes junior event during the summer.

Congratulations to P5 pupils Charlotte and Juliet who competed together at the Flight Gymnastics regional competition and came first place in their level ! They had a great afternoon and enjoyed taking part together!

Gymnastics success for Emmy & Elsa.
We were delighted to hear about P7 pupils, Emmy and Elsa’s achievement!
They were awarded a gold medal in a gymnastics competition.
As a result they have qualified for the British NDP finals and will represent Northern Ireland in May.

Nico plays her way to success
What great news. Nico came 3rd playing her flute at Holywood Music Festival.
Nico previously passed her flute Grade 1 exam with Distinction. This was her first flute performance in front of people!

Shion shines at Holywood Music Festival
We were delighted to hear about Shion's piano achievements. Shion who is a P7 pupil, passed his piano Grade 3 exam with distinction.
At Holywood Music Festival he came third in the piano class and won a bronze medal.
Huge congratulations Shion. What great acheivements.
Leah's League success
P7 pupil, Leah represented Helen’s Bay Golf Club in the Golf Sixes junior event during the summer.

Success for Eva!
We were delighted to hear about Eva’s success . Eva was competing in a competition in Liverpool. It was called ‘The City of Liverpool Gymnastics Open’. Eva came second overall in the highest group for her age, voluntary level 5.
Eva has also competed in other competitions including Gymnastics Ireland in May which she won. She has since been invited to train with the development squad for Gymnastics Ireland.
What achievements Eva. We know she loves gymnastics and all her hard work and effort is certainly paying off! CONGRATULATIONS!
Fantastic Finn!
We were delighted to hear that P7 pupil, Finn won Outstanding Boy for his age group at the Ards and North Down Athletics Club Awards evening. The coaches said he had huge potential, works hard and listens to his coaches.
WELL DONE FINN! Keep up this great approach to your training, performing and attititude for P7 and when you move onto Year 8 too!

A gold rush for Megan!
We were delighted to hear about P7 pupil Megan who recently took part in the Ulster Dance and Fitness Chamionships. She won 5 gold medals for lyrical duo, jazz duo, lyrical group, jazz group and handjive.
She was over the moon!
