Lexi had a fantastic haul of three trophies and two medals at a dance event in Newry she competed in at the weekend. She attained firsts in her Lyrical and Jazz group dances, 2nd in her Jazz partner dance and two thirds in her Lyrical solo and partner dance. Well done on another great series of performances.

NI Irish Dancing Championship (Copy)

Charlotte and Clara both enjoyed a day’s dancing at the Northern Ireland Irish Dancing Championship in Belfast. They qualified for this competition after a successful year of placing 1st-3rd in local competitions. Charlotte came third overall with Clara gaining 5th place. This is a fantastic achievement competing against the very best in the country. WELL DONE GIRLS!

Holywood Music Festival success

We were delighted to hear that P5 pupil Emmy was awarded 2nd place and won a silver medal in the ‘Enjoying Jazz Under 12 category. Emmy played her piano for this class.She also came first place in the violin solo Grade 3 category. She was delighted to receive her trophy and a gold medal! Congratulations Emmy on your great performances.

Irish Dancers are smiling!

Well done to Charlotte and Clara (P6) who participated in the Belfast FDTA . They Irish danced their way to a haul of cups and medals. Both Charlotte and Clara were awarded 1st in the Slip/Double Jig and the Treble Jig and 2nd in the Reel and in their Light and Set Dance in their respective age groups. CONGRATULATIONS GIRLS,! What great achievements!

All Ireland Dance Championships 2022

CONGRATUALTIONS to P6 pupil Lexi who took part in the All Ireland Dance Championships in Bundoran. She came away with a large display of trophies coming 1st in her Jazz solo, 2nd in her Lyrical duo and trio and 7th in her Lyrical solo. Her dance school G&L Dance Company also came first in the group dance. What a super outcome! WELL DONE LEXI!
