Eco Club's Green Fingers
March is a lovely time of year to get the green fingers out! Our HPS Eco Club have doing just that, they have harvested lots of lovely rhubard from our school vegetable garden and have planted carrots, parsnips, lettuce and parsley seeds . They also spread some ‘bee bombs’ of wild flower seeds in the planters by the P2 Island to encourage biodiversity! Keep up the great work Eco warriors!

P3 enjoyed learning about how a coffee shop works. Thank you again to Cameron, at Edge, for answering all our questions and treating the classes to hot chocolate. The children loved exploring the different food businesses in Holywood. Thank you again to Henry’s Auntie for the special treats at Homebird, the children and adults loved them.

Well done to all the pupils who impressed their teachers by showing excellent perseverance in January. In February the classes will be learning all about teamwork and will hopefully enjoy taking part in some collaborative tasks.
