P2 Trip to the Folk Museum
The Primary 2 children had a brilliant day at the Folk Museum. There were lots of people dressed up, who told us about how life was in Victorian times. The children got to explore the old houses and schools in the town and countryside. We looked at how people lived with no electricity or bathrooms, how they cooked and washed their clothes. It was a great day!
Marvellous Megan !

Wonderful Winter Displays in P1 R2
In P1 we have been learning about winter and cold lands.
If you ask any of us about winter or cold lands, we could tell you some very interesting facts! We know how to spot the signs of winter, we know how to keep warm and we have made yummy vegetable soup. We also know lots of things about polar bears, penguins and Inuits. We loved playing inside our very own igloo!
We made vegetable soup in P1 Room 2!
We made vegetable soup as part of our winter topic. First, we weighed the vegetables to see which ones were heavy and which ones were light. Then we washed the vegetables ourselves and chopped them up very carefully. After that, we put them in the big pot and Mrs Elliott boiled it all up to make the soup. The next day, we all had some of it. It was DELICIOUS!
