Diamond Blue Peter Badge for Maia
We have a very happy girl in P3 girl! Maia recently received a DIAMOND Blue Peter Badge. This is a special edition to celebrate 60 years of the BBC Programme later this year.
Maia had to apply for the badge but before doing so she had to complete a number of different things including showing how she has inspired others and been helpful. She then put all this information on an application form.
Maia was delighted to receive her special badge in the post! Well done Maia. That's something to treasure!
Scout award for Robbie
Well done to Robbie(P5) who recently won a cup at his Cub Camp weekend.Robbie, along with his brother Charlie and other cubs, spent the weekend at Lorne. Robbie was very proud of the shiny silver cup he was awarded for being the best cub during the weekend. Congratulations Robbie, very well deserved! ππβΊοΈπ

Well done to Ben (P5) who recently took part in a Swimming Final at Lisburn Swimming Pool. Ben is a member of Bangor Swimming Club. He was participating in the Under 9s Front crawl 25m race and came second! Very well done BenβοΈππ₯ππ»ββοΈ

Mitchel (P6) recently got awarded his junior black belt in Jujitsu following 3 years of hard work. What a great achievement Mitchel, well done for your commitment and the great outcome!
Georgia & Niamh do it again!
We were delighted to hear that two of our P7 girls were very kind, thinking of others.Georgia and Niamh decided to have their hair cut for The Princess Trust who make wigs for children suffering from hair loss.
It was extra special because it was Georgiaβs third time donating and Niamh's second!
Well done girls, your kind gesture will make others very happy. π

Georgia makes the podium at NI Finals!
Congratulations to Georgie (P7) who competed in the NI Trampoline Championship Finals. She did really well coming 3rd in NDP 3 for 11-12 yr olds.
End of season awards
It was great to hear from Sam and Noah that so many of our pupils had a lovely Fun Day at Holywood Rugby Club. This was a perfect end to their rugby season.
Two of the Ulster rugby players came along to present them with their medals. Noah and Sam are proudly showing them in this picture!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Scott & Matthew from P4. Both boys have enjoyed success running the Junior Park run in Belfast Victoria Park each week. The 2K run is a free, fun, timed event (not a race!) for all 4-14year olds, 9.30am every Sunday Morning at various locations around Northern Ireland. More info at www.parkrun.com.
Scott and Matthew have been dedicated runners, achieving their Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra Marathon wristbands. Thatβs a massive 100 kilometres distance covered.

The boys have now run an impressive 71 runs (Scott) & 77 runs (Matthew) each.

Erin won a gold medal with her Rathgael Gymnastics Cheer Squad at the Northern Ireland Cheer Championships. CONGRATULATIONS ERIN, a great achievement!

WELL DONE Eva & Georgia. Both girls have been very busy in recent weeks practising for various competitons. Most recently they performed at Portadown Dance Festival.
Eva (P4) came first in two classes, one in heavy jig and the other in two hand.
Georgia (P3) came first in her heavy jig class.
