Congratulations to over 140 P5 - P7 boys and girls who participated in the Summer Serenade earlier this week. Well done to a number of our P5 & P6 classes who showcased pieces they do regularly in class music. Ensembles and soloists entertained us with popular and classical music. Flutes, clarinets, strings, trumpets, French Horn, trombones, saxophone, recorders, hand bells and percussion instruments were on display. The P6 & P7 choir sang two lovely pieces too. Thanks to our music tutors and Mrs Hunter for their support of the children during the year and to Miss Riddell for co-ordinating and preparing the children for the varied programme of events.
A very special afternoon for the boys and girls to be able to perform in front of a very appreciative audience.
