We were really pleased that our school once again was asked by Holywood & District Community Council to participate in the Maypole Dancing for the May Day celebrations.
Ten pupils from P6 & P7 took part along with pupils from St. Patrick’s PS and Rudolph Steiner School.
The children worked really hard, rehearsing in each school and also at the Maypole the week before. The day went really well, lots of visitors came to watch the dancing.
The girls from HPS were:-
P6: CHARLOTTE, CLARA, LUCY, RACHEL, RUBY, SARAH & VIVIENE.
P7: BEA, EIRA & MIA
WELL DONE GIRLS!
Everyone also enjoyed visiting the wide range of stalls and shops where there was lots to buy and eat!
