The boys and girls are taught to appreciate the importance that our school places on treating each other with kindness and supporting each other. That’s what the HPS team promote every day. We try our best to have an impact on making a positive difference in our school and community .
Well done to five pupils who have shown acts of kindness that were noted by various members of staff this term.
P5 James has lovely manners. He always lets everyone else go first when lining up to go to dinners.
P7 Thomas is such a gentleman! He regularly helps another pupil move down the stairs, putting them at their ease by talking to them and guiding them each step at a time.
P2 Ellen was so interested in our ECO Schools efforts to help the environment, that she spent time over the weekend picking up rubbish at both Stormont and Belmont Park. Well done Ellen!
P5 Sophia has been a very good friend to another girl in her class. She has really helped her settle in to HPS.
P7 Chestha was really efiicient and considerate when helping the school nurse. She noticed the batteries in the weighing scales had stopped working. Chestha brought new batteries in to school the next day which the nurse really appreciated.
