CONGRATULATIONS to our Garden & Eco Club who, along with staff, parents and outside agencies, have worked hard over the last two years to improve our school grounds and heighten the awareness of environmental issues. On Monday 18 June staff and pupils met ECO School assessors. Our focus for the school has been: -
TRANSPORT, GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE & BIDIVERSITY.
The boys and girls took the assessors on a tour of the school grounds, to visit classrooms and proudly introduced the assessors to Harry the Hedgehog, the ECO mascot for the school.
After a comprehensive assessment we were delighted to be informed that we are officially an ECO SCHOOL for a further 2 years ! We are so pleased to have received our FIFTH FLAG!
