Every two years Holywood Primary School participates in a major fundraising event. We have raised tremendous amounts of money over the years for charities such as Macmillan Cancer and Help for Heroes. This year our school took part in a sponsored walk on behalf of the Action MS charity in Crawfordsburn Country Park.
Sincere thanks to families and friends of HPS who sponsored the children. The staggering final total is £8620. A cheque will be presented to Ann Walker, CEO of ACTION MS, at a special Assembly. A number of pupils have been invited to attend an Action MS celebratory dinner later this term. This is the largest amount raised in a single charity event at HPS for over 10 years. Three cheers for the generosity of the HPS community!
