Jamie wins local History competition

Congratulations to Jamie (P4) who recently won a history competition organised by Holywood and District Community Council and Holywood History Group to mark the unveiling of the new MayPole in Holywood.

Jamie’s photo also appeared in the local newspaper!

Congratualations Jamie and well done to all the other pupils who took part in this local competition.

Terrific Trampolining Trio!

We were delighted to hear that Marcia (P6) and Heidi (P2) entered a trampolining competition representing North Down Trampolining Club. Marcia came 3rd, ten places higher than the last time she was in this competition! Heidi was competing in her first competition. Despite being very nervous she won her category and was delighted to receive a gold medal!

The girls are pictured with their older sister and past pupil Isla, who also won 1st place. What a great weekend for the girls. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to them all!

Bronze in Birmingham for Scarlett

Huge congratulations to P7 pupil Scarlett who was a member of the Ireland Taekwando team who attended the Arnold Sporst Festival in Birmingham. Her team came 3rd and Scarlett was so pleased to receive a bronze medal! We are all delighted for Scarlett and her great acheivement.

Gaelic girls glory!

Well done to the Girls’ Gaelic team at St. Paul’s, Holywood who were Under 9s tournament winners 2021. The team was made up of girls from different schools and P6 pupil Clara was one of them. She enjoyed showing the lovely trophy to her class. Well done Clara and your team!

Musical Mara!

We were delighted to hear that P7 pupil Mara, has passed her Grade 2 violin exam. She practised her violin every day during Lockdown! She is still practising in order to take her Grade 3 exam next year.

What lovely news to get from Mara's parents!
